1、 Requirements before masonry:

1. Rainproof measures shall be taken during the transportation of blocks. It is forbidden to drop, throw or dump the blocks during transportation and loading.

2. After the blocks enter the site, rain proof measures shall be taken. During construction, blocks should not be stacked in the open air, especially in spring and summer, and should be stacked in a covered place; If conditions limit, they can only be stacked in the open air, they should be stacked at a higher place, and drainage treatment should be done well.

3. Reasonably arrange the construction period and do not rush blindly. The curing period of 28 days must be guaranteed before laying on the wall.

2、 Masonry requirements:

1. Before masonry, calculate the number of bricks and rows according to the size of the block, check and correct the tie bar. Plain concrete with a certain height (preferably 50mm) and the same thickness as the wall can be pre poured at the root of the wall.

2. Masonry mortar should be mixed mortar.

3. During masonry, the mortar must be fully set to remove the floating ash on the surface.

4. The thickness of horizontal mortar joint is 15mm, and the width of vertical mortar joint is 20mm.

5. The mortar plumpness of horizontal and vertical mortar joints shall be ≥ 80%,

6. Do not use a brick knife to cut bricks, but use a saw to cut them.

7. Tie bars shall be reserved at the junction of blocks with walls and columns, with a vertical spacing of 600mm.

8. Structural beams and columns shall be set in walls with large span or height. See the general description of structural design for details. When there is no clear provision in the general description of structural design, the following requirements shall apply: when the wall length exceeds 5m, reinforced concrete structural columns shall be set; When the wall height exceeds 3m (≤ 120 thick wall) or 4m (≥ 180 thick wall), reinforced concrete beams shall be added at the middle and high parts of the wall.

9. The concave and convex parts of the aerated concrete exterior wall in the horizontal direction (such as moldings, rain covers, cornices, windowsills, etc.) should be flashing and dripping to avoid water accumulation.

10. Due to different dry density and strength grade Aerated concrete block The performance indexes of aerated concrete blocks with different dry densities and strength grades are different, so aerated concrete blocks shall not be mixed with other bricks and blocks.
