Autoclaved aerated concrete blocks Concrete products with numerous tiny holes are formed through high-pressure steam curing and other processes, which is a new wall material with energy conservation, waste recycling and environmental protection.
autoclave Aerated concrete block It has the advantages of light weight, heat insulation, sound insulation, heat preservation, fire prevention, earthquake resistance, easy cutting, etc. At the same time, autoclaved aerated concrete blocks also have the characteristics of high water absorption and slow water absorption, which lead to the phenomenon of hollowing and cracking of the surface paint layer. Therefore, the following precautions are taken during construction:
1. Requirements for block stacking: rainproof shed and 100mm high concrete or formwork cushion platform shall be set to prevent rainwater immersion, otherwise the water content of autoclaved aerated concrete blocks soaked by rainwater is too high, which will produce large volume shrinkage after masonry, leading to wall cracking.
2. The damp proof course at the bottom of the wall vulnerable to moisture such as the exterior wall, kitchen and toilet shall be built with sintered bricks, concrete bricks or cast-in-place concrete not higher than 200mm to avoid hollowing caused by the long-term dry wet alternation of autoclaved aerated concrete block walls.
3. Autoclaved aerated concrete blocks with different dry densities and strength grades shall not be mixed, except for the dampproof bottom layer, the top layer of the wall, and the local use of sintered bricks and concrete bricks at the door and window openings. In case of mixed masonry, different drying shrinkage ratio will lead to cracking of plastering surface.
4. Scaffold holes shall not be left on the autoclaved aerated concrete block wall to avoid damaging its integrity.
5. The lintel extends into the autoclaved aerated concrete wall ≥ 250mm.
6. Special tools shall be used for cutting and sawing blocks, and axe or tile knife shall not be used for chopping.
7. When the hole on the wall needs to be blocked, the special-shaped block and aerated concrete repair mortar made by cutting and sawing shall be used for filling, and other materials (such as broken bricks, concrete blocks or ordinary mortar) shall not be used for plugging.
8. Special mortar is used, including special masonry mortar and special plastering mortar. The ratio of main raw materials cement, hydrated lime and mortar is 1:1:3-6 (before watering and wetting). The hydrated lime (hydrated lime) contains some water, and no longer absorbs water. This basically solves the problem of hollowing and cracking of the wall painting layer of aerated concrete blocks.
